Huge pod of Dolphins sighted off Gairloch!

A rare "super pod" of around 1,000 dolphins has thrilled wildlife spotters who were on a whale watching trip with Gairloch -based "Hebridean Whale Cruises" recently. Eleven lucky visitors to the areawitnessed the rare event which is believed to be caused when smaller pods group together to chase a huge shoal of fish (most likely to be mackerel).
