Bealach Summit Walk

Mountain Life: Bealach Summit Walk, Applecross

Drive up one of the highest roads in Britain before taking to your feet to climb even higher towards Sgurr a' Chaorachain, a Corbett with spectacular views. We will look out for mountain wildlife and learn about the history of the area.

The distance is approximately 7km/4.25mi. This walk is exposed and mountainous. Participants must have good fitness for walking for several hours on rough steep ground. In the event of wintery weather, it will be postponed.

Booking essential by 4pm Wednesday 25th February. On booking the meeting place and other information will be provided.

It costs £9.73 per visitor to operate our Countryside Ranger Service. We make no charge for this event but we rely on your donations to help us protect our Highland wildlife and heritage.
