Shellfish Safaris as seen on BBC 1 and recommended by The Observer. Let local skipper Ian, whose family have fished these waters for 200 years help you experience a working, traditional fishing boat. You will see lobster and prawn creels hauled from the deep and filled with interest. Some of Ian's shellfish ends up on plates at Gordon Ramsay's restaurants, but you can sample this delicious fresh food for yourself and take some shellfish home for tea.

While you're on the boat trip you can also see the abundant wildlife found in the area; maybe catching sight of porpoises and dolphins, seals and seabirds.Ian takes a maximum of 10 passengers at a time. All trips leave from historical Dry Island Pier, Badachro and must be pre-booked by phone: 01445 741263

Ian's boat is certificated by the MCA and fully equipped with all safety equipment including children's life jackets. Binoculars and wildlife guides supplied. Free boat trip if no shellfish seen. Also evening mackeral fishing trips are available.

Come on a Shellfish Safari for a unique experience of the fantastic beauty of the West Coast of Scotland.
