Sitting on the NC500 at the head of Upper Loch Torridon, this is a popular base for hillwalkers, climbers and anyone simply wishing to relax and enjoy the surroundings and local wildlife. The mighty mountain Liathach, with its two munros, spectacular pinnacles and challenging ridge walk, towers above.

The hostel offers a range of comfortable private rooms (one en-suite) and spacious dorm accommodation. Guests can pre-book continental breakfast, served in the hostel’s large dining room, or take advantage of the well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Basic provisions, confectionery and soft drinks are available to purchase at reception.

In the evening, relax with a local ale, fine malt or glass of wine in one of the comfortable lounges and enjoy the panoramic mountain views. WiFi is free for all guests and other amenities include a large drying room, laundry and luggage store. There’s also onsite car parking and a secure bike store.

Torridon is one of our dog-friendly hostels. For more information, check the section on ‘travelling with your best friend’!

The hostel is also available for exclusive private rental.
